During your first appointment, Dr. Laborde and his staff will spend time talking to you about your specific oral health concerns.  He will also review your medical history in detail so make sure to fill out the forms to the best of your ability.  Depending on the reason for your visit, he may need to take additional x-rays or photographs to make an accurate diagnosis.  He will conduct a thorough examination of your teeth and gums and then discuss the specifics of your case. Dr. Laborde will review your treatment options and what to expect during the course of your care.  In most cases, you will be presented with a treatment plan that details the recommended procedures and fees.  You will have plenty of opportunities to ask questions and it is important to us that you understand and feel comfortable with our recommendations.  Treatment is usually not performed on the initial visit and will need to be scheduled for a later date.  We like getting to know our patients so expect to be at our office for about 1 hour for the first appointment.
